A Little (Lot) About Us
We officially began a long, long time ago - 1894 to be exact - as the Colored Seventh-day Adventists of Lexington. There were eighteen members under the leadership of Elder Alonzo Barry.
In July of 1906, we officially opened our first church building at Fifth and Upper (it's now Marino's Day Care Center). There we stayed until 1971 when a new building was built on Lima Drive under Elder Lafayette Williams.
We've had an interesting and long history. To learn more about it keep on scrolling.
